Our skincare clinicians are among the most experienced in the area! An experienced clinician will review your skincare goals and help you decide what peel is right for you. First, your skin will be cleansed and dermaplaned prior to the peel solution being applied. Chemical peels work from the inside of the skin out, and peeling will take days to appear. Downtime may be expected with these treatments but varies with each one. Lighter superficial chemical peels, such as the Micropeel, cause almost no discomfort afterwards, and you can return to your normal activities. On the other end of the spectrum, more intense peels such as the Vitalize Peel, TCA, or Micropeel Plus will cause visible peeling for about 5–7 days after treatment. Your clinician will provide you with extensive aftercare instructions that will guide you through the peeling process. Most chemical peel appointments last for approximately an hour.
