Laser Tattoo Removal is a simple treatment offered at Loftus Total Skin Care. Our trained and experienced clinicians use a specific laser to break down the ink in the tattoo, allowing your body’s natural mechanisms to eliminate the remaining ink.

The LTSC Experience

After placing protective shields over your eyes, our clinician will use a handpiece against the surface of the skin to target the tattoo. Many of our patients report that the discomfort is minimal, often comparing it to the snapping of a rubber band against the skin. The number of pulses required will depend on the size of your tattoo. At each session, the tattoo may become progressively lighter and will continue to fade over the following weeks. A typical laser tattoo removal session lasts between 15–30 minutes.

Anticipated Recovery & Results

We recommend waiting at least 4–6 weeks between treatments for optimal results. On average, 5–10 sessions are required to remove a tattoo, though more or fewer treatments may be necessary depending on the number of colors in your tattoo and how the ink responds to the laser.
